Welcome to the Limestone Association of Australia Website.

Mission: The LAA’s mission is to promote the benefits of limestone use in the agricultural community, secondary industry and the general community.

About the LAA:

The Limestone Association of Australia was formed in 1992. For a period until recently it was known as the National Aglime Association.

The Association provides a national forum for member companies and state associations to consider matters relating to and impacting upon the industry, particularly at a national level. It is the peak reference organisation for governments, regulators, research organisations, academia, kindred associations, industry and the public in relation to limestone used for agricultural and industrial purposes.

The LAA has a Chairman and Executive Committee elected from its membership that is representative of the industry across the Australian States.

Code Of Practice:

The Limestone Association of Australia’s member companies aim to serve their customers’ requirements by focussing on the following key points:

  • Compliance with applicable regulatory laws, rules and regulations.
  • Operate safely and be considerate of the communities in which they operate.
  • Activities are conducted in a manner that is sensitive and aware of the environmental responsibility.
  • Continually improve products and services without compromise of service or quality.
